Directions to the Chalgrove Midsummer Ball from Banbury & the North via the M40

Exit the M40 at Junction 8A (Oxford Services).

Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the A418/A40 towards Thame. After approx 1/2 mile, take the right turn onto the A40. Follow this road past The Oxford Belfry hotel, until you reach a T Junction. Turn right onto the A329 towards Stadhampton.

Follow the A329 through Little Milton, and continue until you reach Stadhampton. At the first roundabout, turn left onto the B480 towards Chalgrove.

After approx. 1.5 miles, you will see a turning on the right signposted for Chalgrove. Take this right turn, and follow the road until you see The Lamb pub on the right. Turn right into Mill Lane just after The Lamb. After approx 100 yards, just before Flemming Avenue on the left, you will see on the right 2 large homes, a brick built house first, then a long black converted barn, with a small access way between them. This will be signposted as the Midsummer Ball Car park. Turn right here, and follow the lane behind the old Tudor Manor House. Our venue is the marquee at the rear of the Manor House. If you pass the Manor House, and/or cross the narrow bridge, you have gone too far.
