Directions to the Chalgrove Midsummer Ball from the direction of Didcot

Take the B4016 northwards out of Didcot, and turn right at the T-Junction. Follow the road around to the left, towards Long Wittenham. Follow the road through Long Wittenham, and turn left at the end of the village towards Clifton Hampden. Cross the River Thames at Clifton Hampden (Caution - narrow bridge controlled by traffic lights).

Once through Clifton Hampden, turn right on the A415 towards Burcot, and then immediately left again onto the B4015. Follow the B4015 up to the Golden Balls Roundabout. Go straight across this roundabout, following the B4015 towards Chiselhampton. When you get to Chiselhampton, turn right at the T-Junction onto the B480 towards Stadhampton. Follow the road through Stadhampton until you reach a roundabout, and turn right at this roundabout, staying on the B480 towards Chalgrove.

After approx. 1.5 miles, you will see a turning on the right signposted for Chalgrove. Take this right turn, and follow the road until you see The Lamb pub on the right. Turn right into Mill Lane just after The Lamb. After approx 100 yards, just before Flemming Avenue on the left, you will see on the right 2 large homes, a brick built house first, then a long black converted barn, with a small access way between them. This will be signposted as the Midsummer Ball Car park. Turn right here, and follow the lane behind the old Tudor Manor House. Our venue is the marquee at the rear of the Manor House. If you pass the Manor House, and/or cross the narrow bridge, you have gone too far.
