Directions to the Chalgrove Midsummer Ball from the direction of the M4/A34

Leave the M4 at Junction 13 (Chieveley), and head North onto the A34. Follow the A34 past Milton and Abingdon, and leave the A34 at the Hinksey Interchange, signposted for Oxford and the A4074. Turn right at this junction onto the A4074 Southern Bypass Road. Follow this down to the next roundabout, and again, go straight over following the A4074 signs. At the next roundabout, bear right, following the A4074 towards Reading, and follow this road through Nuneham Courtenay. At the Golden Balls roundabout, turn left onto the B4015 towards Chiselhampton.

When you get to Chiselhampton, turn right at the T-Junction onto the B480 towards Stadhampton. Follow the road through Stadhampton until you reach a roundabout, and turn right at this roundabout, staying on the B480 towards Chalgrove.

After approx. 1.5 miles, you will see a turning on the right signposted for Chalgrove. Take this right turn, and follow the road until you see The Lamb pub on the right. Turn right into Mill Lane just after The Lamb. After approx 100 yards, just before Flemming Avenue on the left, you will see on the right 2 large homes, a brick built house first, then a long black converted barn, with a small access way between them. This will be signposted as the Midsummer Ball Car park. Turn right here, and follow the lane behind the old Tudor Manor House. Our venue is the marquee at the rear of the Manor House. If you pass the Manor House, and/or cross the narrow bridge, you have gone too far.
